Welcome to the Kingsclere Community Association and The Fieldgate Centre website.

The Fieldgate Centre:  Your community, your place.

Tucked away in the village of Kingsclere, nestled at the foot of Watership Down, the Fieldgate Centre is a friendly and welcoming community centre for everyone to enjoy.

The Fieldgate Centre is run as a charity by Kingsclere Community Association for the benefit of the local community and beyond.

Regular clubs and groups meet at the Fieldgate

“What strikes us, as hirers of venues in various locations over the years, is how willing to help and accommodate the team at the Fieldgate Centre are. Always flexible, helpful with a genuine desire for us to be there. We feel like a valuable part of the Centre’s community rather than a ‘bother’ which is how so many venue staff have treated us in the past. It’s a real pleasure to work with the Fieldgate Centre Committee and staff and we hope to do continue to do so for many years.”  (Regular hirer)

KCA is pleased to be able to work with the Blood Donation Scheme to provide a local opportunity for blood donation.  To find out more click here.

Support and volunteer

The Fieldgate Centre is operated by Kingsclere Community Association, a charity run by volunteers.  We need your help to make sure the centre continues to be a place that the community can use for a wide range of activities and to run events for the community.  If you feel that you can spare a few hours now and again to help with organising events, or with DIY/decorating, please call the office – your help will be worthwhile, appreciated, and you’ll probably enjoy it!

Does your company or the company you work for take part in Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV)?  Please contact the office to find out how we can work together to enhance our thriving community centre.
