Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is updating its Leisure and Recreation Needs Assessment, which forms a framework for establishing the future approach to open space, sport and recreation, as well as considering how community buildings are serving community needs and how this can be improved for future years.![]()

With more residents across the borough spending more time in their communities as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the updated Leisure and Recreation Needs Assessment will ensure the council can provide support where it is needed most. ![]()

We are fitting some outside canopies at the Fieldgate on Sunday morning from 10am to 12. We would welcome a few more volunteers please , jobs involve digging a few holes and fitting the fittings. thanks
Celebrating Volunteers Week - Many thanks to all the volunteers who've helped out at the Fieldgate Centre during the past year. The Christmas show was a brilliant community effort. Even during lock down we've had gardeners and decorators working away, we've re-organised the bar area and our committee members have been looking after Covid compliance, funding applications and planning ahead for re-opening. Great work everyone!![]()
